No. 504 Sent by Pacific Union Express Co. to A. Gagliardo in Hornitos, California.

No. 505 Unused cover with a frank for Pacific Union Express with the Wells Fargo frank overprinted, because they bought the Pacific Union Express Co. in 1869.

No. 506 Unused cover with a frank for the Pacific Stage and Express Co. This express ran by the northern or Henness Pass route over the Sierra Mountains to Virginia City, Nevada. The Henness Pass road is now deserted beyond Graniteville.
