Released in spring 2004, Plush Pony Dandy was named after a Wells Fargo horse from the 1890s.
Dandy joined Wells Fargo in October 1895, at the express office in Auburn, California. He was one of the most valuable and expensive horses in town. The Wells Fargo agent in Auburn paid $18 to get him—top dollar in those days!
