Make someone smile

Plush pony sales to benefit The First Tee

Wells Fargo’s plush pony promotion is back — pony fans can buy Mike, the 2016 horse, and help The First Tee® youth development program.

From Nov. 28 to Jan. 31, Wells Fargo is donating $10 to The First Tee of every 18-inch pony ordered by calling the Wells Fargo Pony Order Line at 1‑800‑842-3222. Through programs offered on golf courses, schools, and youth centers in all 50 states and select international locations, The First Tee offers lessons on golf and life skills that reinforce values like integrity, respect, and perseverance.

In 1884, Wells Fargo & Co. Express appointed its first agent in Des Moines. Wells Fargo was still new to the city, but offered secure shipment of money, fresh produce, and other important goods and services. The office was at 318 Court Street—a block from the train depot, where everything arrived and departed in sturdy Wells Fargo rail cars. Learn More.
