This Day in Wells Fargo HistoryApril 24, 1917

The U.S. Congress passed the First Liberty Loan Act. Wells Fargo hired artist Adolph Treidler to create a colorful promotional banner for Wells Fargo’s many express wagons. This patriotic bond drive raised $2 billion to fund America’s war effort.
