This Day in Wells Fargo HistoryApril 20, 1905

Wells Fargo sold its Salt Lake City branch bank to Walker Brothers, another pioneer Utah banking firm. In 2000, First Security Corporation of Utah joined Wells Fargo, bringing Walker Brothers full circle back into the Wells Fargo family of banks.
Printed bank check number 602 from customer Jacob Alt drawn on Wells Fargo & Co's Bank, Salt Lake City. Handwritten information adds payee name of Mrs. A.D. Full and amount of seven dollars twenty cents. Check is dated May 19, 1896 and is pale gray in color.
