Edward Hopper Wells Fargo Messenger Artist
Before he rose to fame and became one of America's best known realist painters, Edward Hopper (1882–1967) earned a living by selling his drawings and illustrations to companies such as Wells Fargo. Between 1915 and 1918, Hopper illustrated our company magazine the Wells Fargo Messenger. Visit this exhibit to see original Wells Fargo Messengers illustrated by Hopper and receive a free commemorative print.
