Museums: Phoenix

The Wells Fargo History Museum is located in downtown Phoenix, between 1st & 2nd Avenues, in the Wells Fargo Plaza Building.

Exhibits Include

  • An authentic 19th Century stagecoach
  • A replica stagecoach you can climb aboard
  • Interactive telegraph
  • Art gallery—the largest public display of N.C. Wyeth’s western-themed work

Thursday, December 3rd from 11-3

Come see the decorated museum and have your photo taken with Santa. Lots of refreshments and good cheer.


The Wells Fargo Plaza parking garage entrance is located off 1st Avenue. There is additional metered parking available on Adams Street. The museum can be reached from the Metro Light Rail and on the free Downtown Dash loop.

Our Museum hosts a variety of events throughout the year. We often present special programs that are educational and fun!

We will be closed on Veterans Day (November 11th) and Thanksgiving Day (November 26th) as wells as for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Please be aware that if you wish to visit us at your own leisure, without a guide, you are welcome to do that anytime without an appointment. We are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed on bank holidays). Admission is free.
