The museum is located on the skyway level of the Wells Fargo Center at 6th Street South and Marquette Avenue in downtown Minneapolis. Just blocks from Target Center, Target Field, Orchestra Hall, Central Library and downtown shopping and theaters, the museum is easily accessible from Highways 394, 94, 55 and 35W.

Visit us by Metro Transit including Light Rain or go shopping after a visit to the museum and park free at any Do The Town parking ramp. Stay comfortable as you explore the area in eight miles of skyways connecting 69 blocks of downtown Minneapolis.

Scheduled tours are available for groups. All visitors are encouraged to take advantage of a self-guided tour. Special tours open to everyone are offered throughout the year.

School Tours
The Wells Fargo History Museum offers a hands-on educational field trip opportunity for teachers and students through displays, artifacts, images, stories, and interactive experiences. Scheduled tours are guided by a museum interpreter. Call the museum for more information.

Summer Tour Series
Stop by the museum for a different half-hour lunchtime tour each week during our Summer Tour Series, June, July and August.
