The museum is on the skyway level of the Wells Fargo Center at 6th Street South and Marquette Avenue in downtown Minneapolis. The Wells Fargo History Museum offers visitors hands-on family fun.

Step off the skyway and into a storied past. Examine an authentic stagecoach from 1863, see the glimmer of real gold nuggets and coins, send coded messages by telegraph, ride in a rocking stagecoach, sing along to the Weatherball jingle—and much more!

Thank you for your interest in a guided tour!
We encourage all visitors  to take advantage of a self-guided tour. Special tours, open to everyone, are offered throughout the year. We are open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed on bank holidays). Admission is free.

Scheduled tours are available for groups:
Schools—The Wells Fargo History Museum offers a hands-on educational field trip opportunity for teachers and students through displays, artifacts, images, stories, and interactive experiences. Scheduled tours are guided by a museum interpreter. Call the museum for more information.
